Attorney Profile

VINCENT TESSITORE

Vincent Tessitore's practice focuses on all levels of residential and commercial real estate litigation, as well as zoning, commercial real estate finance, and complex real estate transactions.

His litigation practice includes commercial real estate financing disputes, lien priority disputes, construction and mechanic's lien disputes, mortgage foreclosures, and landlord tenant disputes. Vince's knowledge of real estate and finance related matters has led to litigation success not only at the trial court level, but also on appeal, and in various jurisdictions.

Vince has unique and extensive experience in the area of foreclosure litigation, and he has represented both borrowers and lenders in a multitude of cases throughout Illinois. When it comes to protecting the rights of individuals who are trying to save their home from foreclosure, his past experience representing lenders and loan servicing companies gives him a tactical advantage that few attorneys have. He is uniquely qualified not only to litigate for and against banks, but also to negotiate loan modifications, short sales, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and other settlement arrangements.

On the transactional side, his practice includes representation of banks and other lenders, property owners, investors, and developers in procuring municipal financing incentives, private financing, zoning approvals, and all phases of complex purchase, sale and lease agreements. He also represents both lenders and investors in the purchase and sale of REO properties and all phases of distressed real estate transactions.

Vince has successfully negotiated many multimillion dollar municipal financing incentive packages for various investors and developers throughout the greater Chicago area. His experience in tax increment financing, municipal bond issuances, and commercial finance facilities has made him uniquely qualified to represent lenders, developers, investors, and contractors throughout all phases of development projects.

Vince is a member of the Illinois Bar Association and is the former Chairman of the Kane County Bar Association's New Lawyers Division.

Vince was awarded his Juris Doctor degree from Northern Illinois University Law School, where he graduated Cum Laude. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Central College, and he became a Certified Public Accountant while attending law school.

He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, as well as in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
